VISUAL ARTS

Art is the making of arresting attractive images employing different varieties of medium. Visual Arts is inclusive of basic sketching, coloring, painting apart from glass painting, pot painting, flower making to mention a few. Painting perhaps the most popular genre of Visual Arts is a method of visual artistic expression in which designs and colors are applied to a surface by means of flexible applicator (or brush in other words!).

At KENSRI school, the children are exposed to Visual Arts from Upper K.G. and are first taught the basics of drawing, coloring with pencils and crayons before graduating on to using water colors and poster colors. The children are also taught the nuances of freehand drawing, object drawing and pencil sketching. The children are also encouraged to visualize images. Other forms of Visual Arts such as pot painting, paper bag making, glass painting, paper cutting, file making, pillow making, flower making, greeting card making, book markers, key chains making, wall hangers and pen stands are also a part of the syllabus.
