Stand up for NIOS - Special Talent And Needs Development Under NIOS Program.

The program will provide an opportunity for students with special talent to excel and for students with learning challenges to progress at their own pace. Students take up the course offered by the National Centre Of Open Schooling. Thus the individual's talents will be nurtured deliberately to progress both vocationally and academically.

Credit Accumulation : You can choose to appear in any one or more subjects in an examination and earn credit till all five subjects required for certification are successfully completed within a period of five years of registration.

Relevance : The NIOS courses and programs are designed keeping the learner in mind.  The knowledge provided is functional, useful in daily life as well as sets the pathway for further studies.

Recognized Quality Education : The secondary school certificate obtained from NIOS has the same recognition as certificates issued by other boards.  NIOS acts as another Board in Open Schooling at the national level.  NIOS learners can appear and compete in various competitive examinations and continue with higher education.
