Letter from the Admission Officer Dear
prospective parent, Thank
you for considering KENSRI School for your child. There are many adjectives that we would like to use to
explain the school but it is for you to explore the right school for your
child. Undertake the journey
with a sense of purpose with the help of our CODDLE book. KENSRI
School has three of four principles enshrined with the goal to treat all
parents alike. These are (i)
NO DONATIONS; (ii) First-come-first-served; and (iii) no interviews for
pre-primary admissions. With
the help of the government and our parents we are proud to say that we
have not compromised on these principles.
Needless to say that parents have approached us with donations but
they would expect to be treated differently; first-come-first-served makes
sure that parents keen on partnering KENSRI School are accorded the
privilege. We are proud that
a lot of the parents are salaried employees or frugally saving their
limited resources to proudly send their children to KENSRI and parents who
are well to do still maintain the values of inclusiveness for their
children. All of the parents
are treated the same as we do not discriminate for whatever reason.
Elected representatives, Ministers, education department staff,
police department, media have all learnt to respect these principles and
have stood with us to protect the interest of every child.
We thank them for their support.
The only advantage that we give is that we give an early notice to
present parents to register the sibling of our present students. So,
when you take this step towards admission please ensure the following
steps. Admissions are limited
and
Registration
and Admission: Please
make sure that you indeed want admission into the school as the fee paid
during this time reserves enrollment of your child.
The fees will also not be refunded. Common excuses given are that the parents are
transferred, health reasons of the child, divorce or separation,
relocation to another locality. All
of these have to be considered prior to your payment for admission and
registration. Please note
that at the time of admission we will use the enquiry number as a priority
number for admissions. If you
do not admit your child during the first day of admission you will loose
the priority number. Textbook
purchase: The parents are
required to purchase the books, uniform and equipment for their child on
the prescribed date as you would otherwise forfeit your admission.
One or two parents have sought admission from two schools and when
they get one they do not intimate us.
So we would require you to buy your books to show commitment. It is a system that benefits us all and rewards those that are principled, committed and supportive. Thank you. Annie Francis (Admission Officer) |
